STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Kerry Mill
She's the warm smile when you enter the building. The calm voice when you give us a call. The one who says “yes” when there's data to be processed, learning materials to be organized, registrations to be handled, and questions to be answered. She’s Kerry Mill, AWSP's Administrative Assistant & Member Support Specialist. Kerry has been a part of our AWSP team since December 2012. Before then, she worked in the juvenile justice system, with drug and alcohol counseling in middle and high school, and for Littlerock Elementary and schools in the Tumwater School District.
Kerry is our Grade Level Leadership Committee program coordinator and Regional ESD program coordinator. She also assists in workshop registration and professional learning and supports payables and accounting.
She graduated from Capital High School (Olympia SD), and Centralia Community College. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in sociology, with a minor in psychology.
Kerry and her husband, Shawn, live in Olympia and have four grown children. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, gardening, knitting and reading.
